Harte Recruitment is partnering with a fast-moving, modern property business to appoint a Sales Progressor Client Care for its York city-centre office. This is a commercially critical role, suited to someone who thrives on pace, ownership and results — not passive case handling.
Based in a stunning office environment, the Sales Progressor Client Care sits in the heart of the sales operation, working alongside the Sales Team and Sales Manager to drive transactions from agreed offer through to exchange and completion. There is no room to hide behind a keyboard; this is predominantly a phone-led, proactive role for someone who enjoys unblocking issues, chasing progress and keeping deals firmly on track.
This is a standout opportunity for a Sales Progressor Client Care seeking visibility, responsibility and genuine impact within a growing property business, working as part of a modern, collaborative and close-knit team.
The Package
- Basic salary up to £35k basic and £10k comms so OTE £45k plus
- Monday – Thursday in the office + Friday working from home, 09:00 – 17:00

The Sales Progressor Client Care Role
- Proactively progress purchase transactions from offer to exchange within 6 weeks (maximum) of offer acceptance.
- Act as the driving force on each case — chasing, escalating and problem-solving.
- Liaise daily with solicitors, agents, buyers and sellers to maintain momentum.
- Manage a focused caseload (typically up to 10 live files).
- Identify risks early and take decisive action to prevent fall-throughs.
- Deliver a confident, clear and reassuring experience for clients throughout.
The Person
- Has hands-on sales progression experience and is confident on the phone.
- Has worked closely with sales teams (not purely admin or legal support roles).
- Is outcomes-driven and enjoys pushing deals to exchange quickly.
- Can manage multiple cases with pace, structure and commercial judgement.
