Harte Recruitment is excited to partner with a dynamic business based in the heart of Manchester. Specialising in the management of a private residential portfolio across the city, this role offers full 360-degree oversight of the properties. Reporting to the Managing Director, this position is perfect for someone who thrives on autonomy and is eager to grow both personally and financially within an ambitious business. As a key player in Manchester’s property market, the company offers a vibrant office environment.
You’ll manage a varied lettings portfolio, put processes and systems into place whilst ensuring properties are well-maintained and tenants are supported.
The Package:- Basic salary up to £35k basic (D.O.E) with bonus on top (min £2k), OTE £37k
- Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 (1-hour lunch break) + occasional Saturdays for appointments (as and when requested)
- Flexible working hours can be offered for the right person and level of experience
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (an additional day after 1 year) + Birthday off

- Carrying out internal and external inspections with detailed reports and recommendations
- Overseeing the check-out process, deposit returns, and disputes with professionalism and care
- Handling maintenance requests, working with contractors to ensure effective resolutions
- Managing tenancy renewals and ensuring all paperwork is accurate and on time
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and lettings legislation
- Supporting marketing efforts by creating property listings and conducting viewings
- Monitoring rent payments, preparing financial reports, and assisting with maintenance budgeting
- Previous Property Management and/or Lettings experience (essential)
- Experience in carrying out inventories and property inspections
- Proactive, well-organised, and up-to-speed with lettings regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for handling diverse client needs
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the skills to juggle tasks effectively
- Must have full clean UK driving license, pool car is provided
