Harte Recruitment is excited to partner with a leading property company in Manchester, who are seeking a passionate Maintenance & Compliance Coordinator to join their dynamic, forward-thinking team. Renowned for their innovative approach and cutting-edge design-led developments, this company is at the forefront of transforming spaces and shaping the future of the property landscape.
As a Maintenance & Compliance Coordinator, you will manage both reactive maintenance and planned compliance tasks, alongside a team of coordinators. This is a fantastic opportunity to ensure maintenance issues and compliance cases, like electrical certificate renewals and boiler services, are addressed promptly. The Maintenance & Compliance Coordinator role offers you the chance to make a real impact in enhancing the quality of service delivered across the properties.
The Package:
- Up to £25,000 basic salary (OTE £28k) plus up to 8% annual bonus and £1,500 performance bonus per annum
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with hybrid working available up to 2 days from home
- Regular social events, team nights out, and charity initiatives
- Free parking available in Manchester
The Role:
- Managing your own portfolio and responding to incoming maintenance queries from residents promptly
- Coordinating with contractors to schedule and complete repairs within agreed SLAs and informing landlords of issues and any associated costs
- Monitoring and following up on all ongoing repair works
- Keeping residents informed on the status of repairs and managing expectations
- Conducting follow-ups to ensure work has been completed to a satisfactory standard
- Ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing and contractor payments
- Collaborating with the wider maintenance team on shared responsibilities and larger issues
The Person:
- Previous experience in a maintenance or property coordination role is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise
- Calm under pressure and able to handle urgent repairs or complaints
- Comfortable using property management software and standard office tools
- A solution-focused approach, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and professionally
