Harte Recruitment are partnering exclusively with a long-established Estate Agency in Dewsbury to appoint a Senior Sales Negotiator to strengthen their small but busy sales team. This role suits someone experienced, mature and confident in managing sales pipelines from offer to exchange, with the ability to build strong client rapport and keep transactions moving at pace. With recent team turnover, the agency now needs a Senior Sales Negotiator who can bring consistency, reliability and strong communication to the department.
The Package:
- Up to £26,000 basic salary per annum (flexible for strong experience), with OTE up to £32,000.
- Commission on exchange at 3-4% (4% for experienced hires).
- Historic OTE c. £200-£500/month.
- Monday-Friday 09:30, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays, 09:00 with a lieu half day.
- Career progression opportunity to progress to a Valuer / Senior Negotiator position.
The Senior Sales Negotiator Role:
- Negotiate and progress sales to exchange, ensuring strong communication throughout.
- Manage all sales administration, provide handovers, and maintain high-quality client interactions.
- Work closely with directors, apprentice staff and viewings team.
- Deliver consistent monthly throughput, hitting local market KPIs and commission targets.
- Maintain reliable attendance, adhere to working hours and contribute to a stable team environment.
- Use CRM systems.
- Attend occasional viewings where required.
The Person:
- Experienced Sales Negotiator / Sales Progressor with a proven track record taking sales through to exchange (highly desirable).
- Strong telephone manner, excellent client rapport and confident communication skills.
- Mature, reliable and able to work independently without micromanagement.
- Estate agency background (essential).
- Driving licence and own car (highly desirable).
