Harte Recruitment is supporting a well-established independent Estate and Letting Agency to appoint a Property Manager into their South Newcastle-based team. With a strong reputation across Residential Lettings and Property Management, this business is known for its supportive culture, loyal client base and consistent presence in the local market. This Property Manager opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys the variety of Property Management and takes genuine pride in delivering great service to landlords and tenants.
Whether you already have experience within Lettings or are looking to build your career within Property Management, the team is focused on attitude, common sense and a willingness to learn. As Property Manager, you’ll join a friendly department where people support one another, work collaboratively and genuinely care about maintaining high standards across the portfolio.
The Package
- Up to £30,000 DOE basic salary per annum, £350 per month guaranteed commission for the first 6 months: package total £32,100 first year
- Realistic earning potential with basic and overall packages tailored to experience, performance and output.
- Monday – Friday 08:45 – 17:00 (no weekends)
- 22 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with service)
- Regular charity events and team initiatives
- Pool car available for work-related travel – no requirement to use a personal vehicle
The Property Manager Role
- Managing a portfolio of residential rental properties
- Acting as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants
- Coordinating maintenance and repairs with contractors
- Carrying out routine property inspections and reporting back to landlords
- Managing check-ins and check-outs, including inventory coordination
- Handling tenancy matters and general property management queries
- Supporting compliance with current lettings legislation and safety requirements
- Ensuring communication is clear, efficient and customer-focused
- Maintaining accurate records and property management systems
The Person
- Previous Property Management or Lettings experience (essential)
- Strong common sense and good problem-solving ability
- Friendly, approachable and customer-focused
- Pride in delivering high levels of service
- Organised with good administrative skills
- Motivated, reliable and willing to work hard
- Full UK driving licence required (pool car provided)
