They are now seeking a Lettings Development Manager to become the driving force behind this growth, taking ownership of landlord acquisition, portfolio development and revenue generation across the lettings function.

This Lettings Development Manager role offers significantly more autonomy and influence than a typical corporate agency environment. The Package

  • Up to £30,000 basic (DOE), up to £40k OTE (pro rata if applicable)
  • Attractive commission structure
  • Flexible part‑time working options available, including 4-day working week if preferred (Monday to Thursday)

The Lettings Development Manager Role

  • Winning new lettings instructions and growing the managed portfolio
  • Developing relationships with landlords and becoming a trusted advisor
  • Conducting market appraisals and lettings valuations
  • Identifying new business opportunities through proactive business development activity
  • Generating leads through networking, local market knowledge and creative marketing initiatives
  • Conducting property viewings and inspections where required
  • Managing landlord communication throughout the lettings process
  • Working closely with the existing property management and sales teams
  • Ensuring smooth handover of administration and property management activities
  • Contributing ideas around technology, marketing and operational improvements to support business growth

The Person

  • Experience within residential lettings (essential)
  • Strong business development and instruction-winning capability
  • A track record of generating new landlord opportunities
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of the lettings process from valuation through to move-in
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and keen to bring ideas for growth
