As a PA/Practice Assistant, you will already be working at mid-level, with a minimum of 4-5 years experienceor as a Junior PA with 3+ years' experience if ready for a step-up and must be working for a law firm, and seeking progression or a fresh challenge. You will ideally be working within the Practice area of Employment or have previous expertise, although consideration will be given to those who have experience in other practice areas and can demonstrate excellent transferable skills and aptitude. The ideal PA will need to be able to demonstrate working at Partner and Senior Associate level and be positive, proactive, and organised, with good attention to detail and able to take on a myriad of duties working to deadlines. The team cover a wide range of employment matters covering sports, media, charity and corporate, alongside individuals at senior executive level and are driven to achieve quick solutions for their client base. This is a busy but friendly team where you will work within tight timeframes whilst managing conflicting workloads and diaries. Setting up appointments andtravel arrangements as requiredProcessing applications, forms, and searches with minimal supervisionOpening and closing new client matters and carrying out due diligence checks. Preparing AML documentation and obtains relevantdocumentation from clients in a timely manner, as required by Fee Earners including conflict searchesCreating typed work of a high quality, formatting in accordance with house style, at high speed, with accuracy and following internalguidelinesProviding assistance in the delivery of marketing communications, and records all business development meetings in InterActionProviding excellent service to clients, both internal and external, in a timely and professional manner, presenting a positive image of the Firmat all timesMonthly billing and invoice preparation for the Fee EarnersDocument production as required, proof-reading, track changes/amendmentsPreparing both manual and electronic bundles for cases and courtResearching new clients/contacts and collating papers required for client meetings, and conducting basic research for the fee earnersLiaising with both internal and external stakeholders and relevant third partiesMaintaining regular file management, to ensure all files are up to date, closed and archived, as appropriate and keeping accurate records ofall files and sending to off-site storagePersonal Competencies:You will need to be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills, delivering a high-quality and efficient service.
