We are a boutique lifestyle hotel based in the cultural, creative and trendy scene of Shoreditch and we are currently on the hunt for a dynamic and charismatic Shift Engineer! Our team strives to be friendly, supportive and inclusive and we are always looking for people who live and breathe these values.
Your role as a Shift Engineer:
- Carry out repairs and maintenance work as requested by the Maintenance Manager, ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently and with minimum disruption to guests and members of the public.
- Take receipt of deliveries and store items or goods pertaining to Maintenance.
- Ensure that all effort is made to repair faults to rooms without delay to avoid any inconvenience to guests.
- Ensure that daily and weekly checks and PPMs are carried out and keep records as required.
- Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
- Perform and schedule routine maintenance on all production machines and equipment (predictive and proactive maintenance).
- Uphold all maintenance records.
- Troubleshoot and repair all defective equipment including dismantling of machines.
