We are looking for a detail-focused Corporate Tax individual to join our growing tax team.
We are an ambitious expanding chartered accountancy practice. An 8-partner firm in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, we offer the full spectrum of services to our clients, more commonly only offered by the top 50 firms nationally.
Having dedicated teams in tax advisory, corporate finance, and insolvency, we are now looking to expand our tax offering.
Our client base comprises predominantly medium to large SME companies and their owners, many audit clients, high net worth individuals, and a thriving specialism in academies and other educational bodies.
The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Tax professional to join our expanding tax team.
Reporting directly to the tax partner and senior tax managers, the role involves a mix of advisory and corporate compliance work on a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients within our 11-strong tax team.
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong report writing skills, excellent customer service, organizational and interpersonal skills, solid corporate tax technical knowledge, and computer proficiency. Experience managing their own corporate client portfolio is essential.
Formal tax qualifications are not mandatory if the candidate can demonstrate relevant experience. A CTA study package is available if required.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for progression to manager as part of our succession planning for the right candidate.
