The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
The role will include accepting all goods into the Andover depot, booking them in and delivering to the relevant department. You will be responsible for directly reporting into the UK Service Centre Manager and indirectly to the Supply Chain Manager. There is a wider scope of duties including consolidation of orders, consumable stock checks and delivery of stock to other depots.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- 100% check and receipt of all deliveries into the depot and forward delivery to departments.
- Stock take of all departments within the depot for consumables and spares.
- Package all returns and outbound stores items.
- Ensure correct procedures are followed for all stores processes including the use of IT systems for stock control.
- Supervise all stock movements within the depot.
- Consolidate all orders for the depot and ensure orders are hastened when required.
- Communicate with suppliers when required.
- Ensure correct waste management processes are followed.
- Carry out all matters in accordance with H&S regulations and procedures.
- Complete the H&S workplace register.
Required Experience and Skills
Essential:
- Experience in use of stock management software.
- Counterbalance forklift truck licence & full driving licence.
- Good use of computer software (Microsoft Word, Excel and Access).
- Well organised and self-motivated.
- Warehouse stock control.
- Good communicator.
- Ability to carry out manual labour.
- General warehouse experience.
- Good understanding of COSHH.
Desirable:
- Previous experience of HVAC equipment and parts.
