Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident with data and systems? We’re looking for a Maintenance Support Administrator to join our team in Derby, providing critical support to our Maintenance and Heavy Maintenance Managers. This role is at the heart of ensuring our Network Rail fleet assets are kept safe, compliant, and running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you’ll:
- Keep our Fleet Asset Management System (FAMS) up to date, creating and closing maintenance work orders.
- Track and report on asset performance, unscheduled faults, and outstanding work.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to keep maintenance schedules on track.
- Prepare reports, requisitions, maintenance packs, and purchase orders.
- Support the team with planning, documentation, and meeting coordination.
- Manage and update key trackers including FAMS, Q-Pulse, and master maintenance schedules.
What you’ll bring
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English.
- Strong IT skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel (Access experience a plus).
- Previous experience in administration, ideally within engineering, maintenance, or a related environment.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
