To monitor and support the safe operation of the OTM (train) fleet/staff, supporting all areas of the operations department and maximising contractual obligations. Key result areas include accuracy and quality of documentation, 5S score for area of responsibility, accuracy and quality of databases, and attention to detail and safety communication.
Responsibilities
- Communicate safety critical information as required
- Monitor OTM and staff movements/hours in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Ensure OTMs are resourced as necessary within your remit of control
- OTM shift reports are collated on a daily basis and sent to relevant parties
- Reporting any areas of concern to the relevant managers e.g. OTM Faults, crew issues, resources etc.
- Issue safety briefings as required
- Carry out any short-term planning and arrange VSTP movements
- To be available for work as per roster
- Adhere to operational policies and procedures
- Deal with safety of the line and operational incidents as required
- To ensure all records are maintained
