Harsco Environmental is the premier provider of material processing and environmental services to the global steel and metals industries. Our onsite mill services and resource recovery services offer sustainable solutions that maximize environmental benefit and return valuable raw material into production. We also develop a range of by‑products for specialized applications across industry, construction and agriculture, leveraging Harsco’s expertise in mineral materials.

Our Heavy Equipment Mechanics are experienced in repairing large, off‑road construction type equipment in an industrial environment. The right candidate is a self‑starter capable of diagnosing, troubleshooting and completing repairs on heavy off‑road equipment such as pot carriers, loaders, material handlers, fork trucks and cranes. Knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulic systems and/or electronics is preferred. Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.

We offer competitive wages based on skill levels, $42.56-53.98 per hour, and benefits including a 401(k) with company matching, health, life and disability insurance, tool reimbursement and ongoing training opportunities. CDL not required.

Qualifications:

  • 421A license preferred; experience with 310T and 310S heavy equipment considered.
  • Ability to understand technical manuals, illustrations, specifications, diagrams, schematics and similar guides to make repairs and modifications according to OEM specifications.
  • Must be able to work shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Must pass drug/alcohol screening.
