Harry the Hirer has been the major supplier of Temporary infrastructure to Events & Exhibitions for over 40 years. A family-owned business that prides itself on having the best people, we are looking for Truck drivers to help us deliver equipment to 100βs of events and exhibitions during the year, including the Australian Open Tennis, F1 GP, and Spring Carnival.
About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Truck Drivers - Manual to work out of our Brooklyn Warehouses. An integral part of keeping our business running smoothly, your role will include the following duties:
- Transporting hire and custom stock to site in a safe and timely manner
- Vehicle Pre-start checklist, using HTH App
- Load inspection prior to each trip
- Confident and competent in strapping loads safely
- Vehicle Inspection report, using HTH App
- Vehicle Incident report, using HTH App
- Adhere to all State & Federal traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain clear communication with transport desk & site managers
- Nights and weekend work may be required
About You
Along with your strong work ethic, you will need the following:
- A valid MR/HR Licence β 1 year experience is a minimum
- Be able to provide previous driving history
- A valid White Card (Construction Induction Card)
- Be strong, fit & healthy as there is manual handling involved
