As a Vehicle Mechanic & Electrician, your job is to perform basic maintenance like changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires. You’ll also repair or replace worn parts such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors. Additionally, you’ll carry out repairs according to manufacturer and customer specifications and explain automotive problems and repairs to clients.
Responsibilities
Talking to customers about their vehicle problems
Checking electrical and electronic systems to diagnose faults
Estimating time and quoting costs for repairs
Removing faulty parts and fitting replacements
Repairing systems like air conditioning and heating
Test driving vehicles to ensure repairs are successful
Checking and ordering stock
