Location: Coventry, West Midlands (County)
Salary: £16.50 - £18.00 per hour DOE
Job Type: Permanent
Hours Of Work:
- Mon – Thurs: 07:15 – 16:30
- Fri: 07:15 – 12:15
Duties Include:
- Select appropriate tooling, dies and machine settings for each job
- Set and form sheet metal and plate on press brakes
- Metal finishing
- Perform machine adjustments to ensure accuracy and quality
- Inspection and assembly
- Inserting fixings
- Assisting with laser loading
- Operating FLT to move parts around the factory
- Packing
- Operating other machinery when required
Requirements:
- Previous experience setting and operating press brakes
- Good understanding of engineering and production environments
- Ability to use tape measures, protractors, squares, and verniers
- Strong communication skills and ability to read instructions and drawings
- FLT experience preferred but not essential
