We are currently looking for a detail‑oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our production floor and help bring our fabricated parts together into finished products.
Mechanical Assembler Role Summary
The Mechanical Assembler is a critical part of our manufacturing process.
In this role, you will be responsible for the final and sub‑assembly of sheet metal components, read technical drawings, use hand and power tools, and install various types of hardware—including nuts, bolts, and rivnuts—to ensure our components are joined accurately and securely according to customer specifications.
- Mechanical Assembler Key Responsibilities
- Sub‑Assembly & Final Assembly: Fit, align, and assemble fabricated sheet metal parts to construct multipart sub‑assemblies and final finished products.
- Hardware Installation: Accurately install mechanical fasteners, including inserting and setting rivnuts, PEM nuts, standard nuts, bolts, washers, and blind rivets.
- Tool Operation: Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools, such as pneumatic rivet guns, cordless drills, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers.

Reading: Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, assembly drawings, and work orders to determine the correct hardware, assembly sequence, and alignment requirements.
- Quality
Control: Inspect parts before, during, and after assembly to ensure they meet dimensional and visual quality standards and that finished metal or painted surfaces are not scratched or damaged.
- Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company safety procedures.
- Mechanical Assembler Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Previous experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or a sheet metal environment is highly preferred.
- Hardware Knowledge: Familiarity with sheet metal hardware (rivnuts, threaded inserts, bolts, rivets) and the specific tools required to install them.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and understand basic mechanical drawings, schematics, or blueprints.
- Attention to Detail: High level of precision to ensure parts align perfectly and hardware is appropriately torqued without stripping or damaging the metal.
- Physical Dexterity: Excellent hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle small hardware and maneuver metal components.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, repeatedly use hand/power tools, and occasionally lift up to 20 kg.
