We are looking for a senior and experienced Commercial Property Solicitor or Partner to join the team at our Clifton Moor office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to take on greater responsibility, play a leading role within the team and further develop a specialism in Commercial Development work.

In this role you will be expected to manage complex matters with a high degree of autonomy, take ownership of key client relationships and contribute to the continued development of the Commercial Property team. The role will involve engagement with landowners, national house builders and small/medium size developers on a range of matters including:

  • Sale and purchase of land subject to conditions (including planning);
  • Promotion agreements;
  • Development work encompassing site sales and acquisitions, option agreements, overage agreements, planning agreements, infrastructure agreements and plot sales;
  • Easements;
  • Secured Lending;

We are looking for someone who has experience in:

  • Managing a varied caseload of commercial property transactions
  • Advising on acquisitions, disposals, leases and wider property matters
  • Providing confident technical guidance and expertise
  • Building strong relationships with investors, developers, landlords and businesses
  • Playing an active role in business development and networking and confident in identifying opportunities to grow and strengthen client relationships
  • Delivering exceptional client service while contributing to the team's continued growth
  • Supporting and mentoring the development of our junior colleagues
