We are looking for a Lawyer with a Commercial Property focus to join our Clifton Moor office. Harrowells really is a great place to work. About the Role
Working closely with our Head of Property, you will have the opportunity to engage with landowners, commercially focused property owners, property developers, house builders and agricultural clients on a range of matters. The spectrum of potential work is broad, and support will be offered to assist in areas that you may have less experience in – ultimately we are looking for someone who has a willingness to both conduct transactions they are confident and skilled in and also grow and develop their experience through supporting their senior colleagues on more complex cases.
Responsibilities
- Sale and purchase of leasehold and freehold property – commercial and residential
- Sale and purchase of land subject to conditions (including planning)
- Promotion agreements
- Grant of Leases – residential/commercial
- Development work encompassing site sales and acquisitions, option agreements, overage agreements, planning agreements, infrastructure agreements and plot sales
- Easements
- Secured Lending
Required Skills
- Ability to build and strengthen both existing and new relationships with a wide range of clients
- Ideally at least 2 years experience in a Commercial Property role, but we would potentially consider less
- Excellent client care skills
- Experience and confidence in meeting and networking with industry professionals and clients
