You will be highly organised, with strong verbal and written communication styles that reflect the organisation’s brand and client expectations. Your good numerical ability and confidence with MS Office applications will enable you to accurately record client and financial information. The environment: Harrow School is situated in Harrow on the Hill, northwest London, and is one of the best-known schools in the world. Around 835 boys study at Harrow and live in the School’s 12 boarding houses. Harrow School Enterprises Limited (HSEL) is the trading company of Harrow School. It is responsible for raising additional funds for the School through commercial activities such as events, filming, tours, weddings, educational courses, residential tenant groups and sports facilities hire. HSEL is also the head office for Harrow School Short Courses (HSSC), which is one of the leading providers of summer language courses for international students aged 8-17 years.
Applications will be processed as they are received and interviews may take place before the closing date, so early application is recommended. We believe in diversity of thought and actively welcome everyone regardless of their background to bring their valuable and relevant skills to our community.
Safeguarding Statement: The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All successful applicants must be willing to undergo enhanced child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with any past employer and the Disclosure and Barring Service, and it is an offence to apply for the role if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children. No member of staff will be able to start until these checks are complete and this process takes, on average, a month. Please plan accordingly.
