The Corporation Safeguarding Manager works with the Designated Safeguarding Leads of Corporation Schools to enable safeguarding of all children within Harrow School, John Lyon School and other schools within John Lyon’s Foundation. It is an influential position that takes lead responsibility to provide strategic direction, review safeguarding policies and procedures, provide training and produce data to ensure the harmonisation of best practice across the organisation and compliance with National Minimum Standards.
As you continually refresh your expertise of legislation and build networks with safeguarding experts, you will work closely with senior managers to recommend new ways forward so that the Foundation can pride itself on its industry‑leading approach to keeping pupils safe and well. The post holder will also work closely with and support the Director of Safeguarding at Harrow School.

The Role
The Corporation Safeguarding Manager will liaise with Designated Safeguarding Leads to harmonise safeguarding practices across the Foundation’s schools and support the Director of Safeguarding at Harrow School.
