About this role: Casual contract, called in as and when needed. The role involves supporting the cleaning and/or laundry teams during busy times. In the team of cleaners, you will clean boarding houses and other school buildings, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas. In the laundry team, you will collect laundry from around the site, load and unload laundry from washing and drying machines, fold, press and pack it for delivery back to the correct buildings.

Key skills:

  • Previous experience in cleaning and/or laundry services.
  • Experience working as part of a team and independently.
  • Ability to manage a high workload while following instructions and completing work with attention to detail and to a high standard.
  • Good standard of fitness to complete physical cleaning tasks.
  • Positive mindset and willingness to be flexible and supportive within a friendly team.
