Overview The London Borough of Harrow is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Environmental Protection team. The successful candidate will carry out enforcement functions, enabling the Council to meet its statutory obligations in environmental protection. This includes inspection, enforcement, education, and advice. You will operate in a customer-facing, front-line environment, representing Harrow Council in often challenging circumstances. This role will be the senior officer for the team and will work closely with the Environmental Protection Team Leader to achieve excellent service delivery. As part of an enforcement team, you will work in accordance with statutory requirements and comply with relevant Council policies and procedures. You will also represent the Council as a duly authorised officer, educating and collaborating with internal and external organisations to enhance public safety and wellbeing.
