The predicted salary is between 22377 - 29436 £ per year.

Science Technician required for a September start. 32.5 hours per week, term time only. Specific timings are negotiable. Salary scale H3, at £29,436, which is £22,377.25 per annum pro rata.

The successful candidate will prepare materials, practical demonstrations, maintain laboratory equipment and facilities, and ensure a safe and well-organised learning environment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and an interest in Science are essential. Previous school-based experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. This role will play a key part in supporting both staff and students within the Science department.

About You:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and proactive person to join our Science department. It is desirable that applicants hold qualifications in Science or a related subject, together with a genuine interest in supporting practical science education. Previous experience working in a school environment is highly desirable, although not essential, as full training will be provided. A tidy, methodical approach, strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both staff and students are essential. This role would suit someone who enjoys working as part of a busy team, takes pride in maintaining high standards and is keen to contribute to the smooth running of a successful Science department.
