Learning Support Assistant
One year fixed term contract. Part Time, 32.5 hours per week, term time only. Grade G03, point 9. Salary: £20,969 per annum.
This post is subject to the contract of employment between the Learning Support Assistant and the Governing Body of The Sacred Heart Language College. The postholder must have regard to the Catholic character of the School and be committed to supporting and upholding it. About you
We seek to appoint an enthusiastic, committed Learning Support Assistant who will work under the direct instruction of teaching and senior staff in the mainstream classroom to offer 1:1 and small group support to enable pupils to access the curriculum and to provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils in and out of the classroom. Whilst experience of working with young people in an educational setting would be an advantage, training and support will be provided to enable the successful candidate to play a vital role in helping our pupils to achieve success.
