Graduate Intern Teaching Assistant required for a September start. 35 hours per week term time only 8.15am - 4.15pm (a one-hour unpaid break is incorporated in the hours). Salary scale H2, at £28,617 pa which pro rata is £23,795.04.

The successful candidate will support students both in the mainstream classroom and also in a 1:1 capacity. The candidate will also be expected to lead small group sessions within the core subject areas of Maths and English. An interest in working with students with a wide range of special educational needs including emotional, social and mental health needs is essential, together with an interest in supporting second language learners. A caring, flexible and common sense approach is important.
