Responsibilities
- Carry out initial and diagnostics assessments.
- Maintain attendance registers, records of progress and ensure learners are enrolled on the right levels.
- Create teaching and learning materials and resources.
- Differentiise levels and create individualised resources for learners.
- Check and assess learners' work and provide feedback.
- Work within the Learn Harrow Quality framework to ensure services delivered meet the contract standards.
- Maintain effective and efficient administrative procedures.
Qualifications
- Professional teaching qualification suitable for the subject taught, such as Award in Education and Training or PGCE.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and e‑learning platforms.
- Enhanced DBS check.
Experience
- Teaching accredited and non‑accredited courses.
- Undergoing an Ofsted observation as well as internal and other external observations.
- Working with disadvantaged people and those with health problems or who are unemployed (desirable).
- Teaching individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Implementing Safeguarding, Prevent and British Values in line with course content.
