Role Overview
We are seeking to appoint a Section Manager for Travel and Tourism based at our Uxbridge Campus, who will be responsible for planning, implementing and delivering courses. The role involves developing provision, teaching across a range of programmes, and line managing a team of teaching staff.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement and deliver courses in Travel and Tourism.
- Develop provision and teach on a range of programmes.
- Line manage a team of teaching staff, supporting and developing lecturers.
- Motivate and manage the team.
Qualifications
- Qualified in a relevant subject area.
- Full Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector.
- At least 2 years’ recent teaching experience in Travel and Tourism.
- Experience in curriculum management/co-ordination and team leadership.
