Salary: £23,874 to £24,572 (actual salary for 36 hours per week, 39 weeks per year). Salary will be adjusted for mid‑year starters until 31st August 2026. Post Type: Full Time Term Time.
Are you interested in shaping immersive learning experiences for students in a college setting? We are seeking a Digital Learning Facilitator to join our successful Digital Innovation team. In this role, you’ll support teachers in transformative immersive learning experiences within the college’s state‑of‑the‑art immersive rooms. This role focuses on taking responsibility for one of our five immersive rooms, facilitating and enhancing immersive lessons, providing support to teachers in their use of the technology in the rooms and enabling transformative teaching.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring seamless technical setup, managing troubleshooting issues and actively engaging in lesson facilitation which will directly impact the student experience and the success of immersive learning initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of digital tools for teaching and learning, and enthusiasm for innovation and technology
- Good interpersonal skills
- Confidence to support students aged 16+ in a classroom environment
- Ability to use your own initiative
You will have the opportunity to work towards the first stage teaching qualification, the Award in Education and Training, which will be financially supported by the College. For individuals who start a term‑time only role after 1st September, the salary will be pro‑rated from the start date to the end of this academic year (31st August 2026). This will be paid in equal monthly instalments until 31 August. The salary will revert to the normal arrangements as stated in the advert at the start of the following academic year.
