We have exciting opportunities for Speech and Language Therapists to join our team and make a positive impact on our learners’ lives. We are seeking individuals who would like to work on a part time basis, on an hourly or day rate, for 1 or 2 days per week, term time only.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of learners’ speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualised therapy plans for learners.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group therapy sessions.
  • Provide support, guidance and training to Support Staff in relation to the implementation of therapy plans.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other professionals to achieve therapy goals.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to ensure that Speech and Language therapies are fully embedded into curriculum delivery.
  • Monitor and track client progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary, providing therapy reports to feed into the Annual Review process.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and session outcomes.

You Will Need To Possess

  • A recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration is essential.
  • Experience in working with specific client groups, e.g., children, adults with speech disorders, neurological conditions, etc. is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
