Are you passionate about land acquisition, property development and identifying exciting new opportunities? Harron Homes is looking for a motivated and commercially minded Land Buyer to join our Yorkshire team, playing a key role in supporting our continued growth.
The role:
Working closely with the Head of Land and internal teams, you will help identify and secure suitable land opportunities, ensuring we maintain a strong and high quality land bank to support our development objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying, researching and evaluating potential land and residential development opportunities.
- Preparing land appraisals and supporting the preparation of competitive bids.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with landowners, local agents, local authorities and other developers.
- Developing a detailed understanding of your designated area, including local development opportunities and competitor activity.
- Supporting negotiations and the preparations of offers for land acquisitions.
- Working collaboratively with internal teams, including Technical, to assess the suitability and potential of prospective sites.
- Supporting the ongoing management of acquired land and assisting with the legal and technical aspects of the acquisition process.
About you:
We are looking for someone who is commercially aware, proactive and eager to make an impact. You will ideally have experience within housebuilding environment. You will have strong numerical, written and verbal communication skills, sound decision making abilities and the confidence to build relationships, influence others and identify opportunities. You will also be organised, self motivated and driven to achieve targets and deliver results.
