Our Commercial Department is central to our success driving profitability, strengthening supply chain partnerships, and ensuring our developments perform from start to finish.
We are now looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to play a key role in delivering strong site performance across the region. You will lead the commercial performance of multiple housing developments across Yorkshire, managing procurement, cost control, valuations and financial reporting to ensure schemes are delivered on time and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead “all-risk” procurement for roads, sewers and plot works
- Strengthen and grow our Trade Contractor network
- Oversee site start budgets and cost-to-complete reporting
- Work closely with Construction teams to maintain tight commercial control
- Manage development budgets through to adoption
- Proven experience in housebuilding or residential construction
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Confident managing budgets, reporting and cost control
- Relationship-driven, organised and resilient
- ONC/HNC (or equivalent) degree desirable
