Overview of Role
Duchy College, (formerly Harrogate Ladies College) comprises pre-school, preparatory, senior and sixth form and are a family of leading independent schools delivering a world class education in the heart of Harrogate for boys and girls aged 2-18 years. In our last ISI inspection in 2024 we met all standards in all areas and in 2017 we were awarded the highest possible rating of Excellent in All Areas from 2 to 18 years. This is an exciting time in the School’s history as from September 2026, we will be starting our journey to become fully co-educational. We will also be changing our name for the new era to Duchy College.
We are looking to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant within our Learning Support team to provide 1-2-1 class support to a pupil in Duchy College Senior from September 2026. The role is varied and would be up to 10 periods, to be worked across 1 day. The role will involve supporting the pupil and liaising with the Head of Inclusive Learning/SENCo in College about the progress of the pupil.
