Harrogate Ladies’ College is in a momentous phase of its history. In September, we will begin the transition to becoming fully co-educational and will change our name to Duchy College. The School covers a 22 acre site within the Duchy of Lancaster conservation area which is a short distance from Harrogate town centre. The site includes a variety of substantial buildings all set within attractive grounds.

The Estates Manager will lead the Estates team and work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to support the School’s strategic and operational objectives. This is a varied and hands-on role requiring strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise competing demands, and excellent communication skills when working with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Manage the Estates team and work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team across the whole school.
  • Adopt a hands-on approach to managing estates maintenance issues, prioritising multiple tasks and communicating clearly with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure legislative obligations are met across the School site and maintain knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
  • Supervise and support the Estates team to promote safe and efficient site operations.

This is a full-time position, with some evening and weekend work for specific school events. Salary is dependent on experience, plus benefits.

The school is an educational charity and equal opportunities employer.
