To provide a mail and specimen collection and delivery service to General Practitioners, Community and HDFT units. Transportation of goods including linen, laundry furniture, medical equipment, clean and dirty sterile services equipment, stores and pharmacy items. Carry out ad hoc furniture and equipment movement as directed. Deliver Liquid Nitrogen to General Practitioners as the schedule states. Drive, clean and carry out daily checks on vehicles. Drive vehicles responsibly and safely reporting any defects to the Portering and Logistics Manager. Follow good practices, guidelines and procedures in relation to Health and Safety, Manual Handling, Security, Emergency and Fire. Liaise with other members of staff to maintain good working relationships. Maintain and promote good relations with patients, visitors, and other organisations.
