We are looking for a dedicated and reliable cleaner to join our team. Working across both our residential hostel, our busy day centre and offices you will play a vital role in providing a clean, safe, and dignified environment for our residents, service users and staff. This is a rewarding position for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to make a tangible difference to the most vulnerable in our community.

  • Daily cleaning: Thorough cleaning of communal areas and offices.
  • Sanitisation: Deep cleaning of shared bathrooms and toilets to high hygiene standards.
  • Room turnovers: Preparing residents’ rooms for new arrivals (deep cleans and basic linen changes).
  • Safety: Safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Reporting: Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience: Previous professional cleaning experience is essential.
  • Knowledge: An understanding of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and general Health & Safety.
  • Character: A non-judgemental, patient and respectful approach to working alongside vulnerable adults.
  • Reliability: Excellent timekeeping and the ability to manage a busy daily schedule.

Enhanced DBS check provided and paid for by the organisation. The opportunity to work within a supportive, mission-driven team. Reasonable flexible hours available to fit in with family commitments.
