Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm, Friday 8am to 3.30pm. We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Year Team Support Officer to join our highly effective pastoral team. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in supporting students' wellbeing, attendance, behaviour and academic success. Working closely with our Year Managers, Faculty Leaders, the SEND team and families, you will provide a first response to student and family needs, ensuring timely support and intervention. You will help create an environment where students feel safe, valued and able to succeed.
About You
- Has experience of working with young people in an educational, pastoral, youth work or community setting
- Builds positive and professional relationships with students, parents and colleagues
- Demonstrates resilience, empathy and excellent communication skills
- Can work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including external agencies
- Is highly organised, able to maintain accurate records and manage competing priorities
- Shares our commitment to high expectations, inclusion and student success
- Is committed to their own professional development and continuous improvement
