We are seeking a Technician to join our team in the Construction and Electrical department at Harrogate College. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our workshops, preparing materials and resources for teachers and learners, and managing your own workload. You will also be in charge of monitoring stock levels and ordering new materials and equipment as needed.

The Construction and Electrical team is enthusiastic and strives for their learners to achieve their optimum results. We have the learners\' best interests at heart, and you will be supporting the team in achieving this.

Based on site at Hornbeam Park, Harrogate College has excellent modern facilities and provides a professional and friendly environment to study and work.

You will be working in our industry-standard Technology Block and Joinery Workshop.

What You Will Do
  • Maintain the workshops so that they meet Health and Safety Regulations.
  • Support teachers and learners enabling learners to achieve the best results.
  • Prepare materials and resources for lessons.
  • Maintain stock levels and place orders as required.
