An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Obstetric and Gynaecology department.

The post-holder will support the provision of an efficient and comprehensive secretarial support service to the consultants, specialist nurses and other medical staff, prioritising work to ensure deadlines are met. To maintain a high standard secretarial service to meet the needs of the clinical team within the Directorate, ensuring successful organisation of workload using time management, whilst remaining calm when responding to changing priorities.

The post holder will be responsible for the management of the administrative aspects of the colposcopy service across the Trust. They will be required to ensure a comprehensive and user friendly service is delivered, which meets the recognised standards for Colposcopy and will work closely with the Clinical lead, Lead Nurse for Colposcopy and the CSPL (Cervical Screening Provider Lead). The post holder will be a key interface for patient enquiries, correspondence and for supporting clinicians’ in managing clinical pathways including results and information requests. The post holder will be the key point for administrative contact with the clinical teams and divisional managers.

The post-holder must observe and work within the Trust’s Confidentiality Policy at all times.
