Are you passionate about shaping the future of healthcare by supporting the education and development of medical professionals? We are looking for an enthusiastic Medical Education Officer to provide secondment cover for a fixed term of 20 months. In this important role, you will support and coordinate medical education activities across the Trust, working closely with Undergraduate medical students, Consultants and SAS Doctors, and Education Centre users, to maintain the high standards of medical training.

If you are organised, collaborative, and passionate about medical education, this is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience whilst supporting the ongoing success of HDFT\’s training programmes.

The Medical Education Officer works effectively as part of the Medical Education Team in coordinating placements and training programmes predominantly for the Undergraduate students. In addition, the post holder is responsible for coordinating study leave requests of SAS and Consultants in the Trust. They have responsibility for the administration of the SAS training programme and work alongside our SAS Tutor. They operate as a point of contact for queries from Doctors, Medical Students and other Education Centre users providing support and advice, as well as providing administration and secretarial support for the department.
