The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

The post holder will work as part of the children’s community health commissioned service within 5-19 services.

Under the direction and supervision of the 0-19 team, the post holder will contribute to providing high-quality services for children, young people, parents, carers, and families. This work will be within the framework of the Healthy Child Programme and the Best Start in Life priorities, proactively delivering the national and Public Health agendas in response to identified health and social needs. The post involves working in partnership with other agencies to meet agreed standards, objectives, and statutory requirements.

To support the 0-19 team in delivering the Healthy Child Programme, ensuring services are provided within the tiered model approach – building community capacity, universal, universal plus, and universal partnership plus.

Contribute to the development, delivery, and reporting of health-promoting activities across various settings.

Deliver evidence-based early intervention programs to support children, young people, and families, such as emotional health, healthy lifestyles, risk-taking behavior, and health promotion.

Signpost and provide information for parents and young people, communicating in an understandable manner.
