The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 ÂŁ per year.

In this role you will be responsible for designing, shaping, and optimising our supply chain solutions and processes, working closely with the leadership team across Supply Chain & distribution. You will lead the discovery and initiation phases of new projects—coordinating complex business requirements, defining solution design, and producing a comprehensive Project Initiation Document (PID) for handover to project management. This will be a fixed term role covering maternity leave.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate discovery activity and lead solution design for new supply chain projects.
  • Gather and translate complex business requirements into clear, structured documentation.
  • Shape and lead the initiation phase of projects, delivering robust PIDs to project managers.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external third-party suppliers or consultants to assess and implement best‐in‐class solutions.
  • Identify and resolve operational problems, working across food, beverage, warehouse and wider supply chain functions.
  • Oversee and quality‐assure all solution documentation produced by the Process Analyst.
  • Support our transformation agenda, including new automation initiatives and modernisation of existing systems.

Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on‐site, depending on business needs. This role is hybrid, working 3 days in the office per week.

Key Requirements

  • Have strong experience designing and optimising supply chain processes and solutions.
  • Bring hands‐on experience in discovery activity, solution shaping, and early‐stage project definition.
  • Have experience working in warehouse, distribution, automation, or broader supply chain environments (industry background is flexible).
  • Demonstrate the ability to partner with stakeholders across technical and non‐technical functions.
  • Possess a business‐analyst mindset, with confidence in problem‐solving and process mapping.
  • Ideally have experience working with automation technologies or SAP (desirable but not essential).
  • Be comfortable operating independently, seeking out information and identifying the right solutions for complex problems.
