Our Fine Watches department has a unique opportunity to join our brand-new, state-of-the-art Rolex Service centre as a Watchmaker. As a skilled watchmaker, you will work with precision and passion to ensure every timepiece that passes your bench is restored to Rolex's unparalleled standards of quality, while adhering to lead time and cost targets. You will produce work of the highest quality, bringing every client's treasured timepiece back to life.
About the Role
As a Watchmaker within our Service Centre, you will be responsible for bringing timepieces to life, ensuring their smooth functioning during the aftercare service. You will be carrying out full services, dial and hand fitting, and partial repairs on all pre-qualified Rolex calibres up to models with complication modules (once trained), as well as all calibres you have received training on. Using your experience with watchmaking, you will utilise your skillset and education to problem solve within the workshop, able to repair certain movement parts and support our Technicians on difficult service needs. This role is fully on site, working 5 out of the 7 days a week.
Within this role, you will also:
- Read the job card to ensure the customers' requirements are met.
- Ensure all repairs are carried out using techniques and tools according to Rolex standards.
- Communicate the status of assigned repairs to the administrative colleagues as needed.
- Ensure you are contributing to your unit's productivity, whilst adhering to Rolex standards of quality, lead time, and cost.
- Ensure all paperwork is appropriately filled out, attaching any required testing documentation, before passing the work to Quality Control.
- Prioritise high maintenance of all machinery, tooling and mops.
- Ensure that all spare parts used are allocated to the correct job.
About You
To be successful within this role, we are looking for trained watchmakers with proven experience working on quality watches, Rolex Level 30 Accreditation as a minimum, and extensive bench experience. You will have knowledge of Rolex products and watchmaking procedures, and trained on movements with complication modules. Our team work seamlessly together to ensure high quality results for all clients so excellent communication principles, high attention to detail, organisational skills and self-motivation are key qualities needed for this role.
