We are currently looking for a full-time Uniformed Security Team Manager to join our established Uniformed Security team. The Uniformed Security team is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our customers and employees, with the manager overseeing a team of officers to maintain the integrity of the store and protect the business from threats and crime.
Responsibilities
- Detect and prevent offences against the company, its staff, customers, products and assets.
- Manage the security function of the Knightsbridge site, including accountability and duty of care for all personnel on site.
- Provide effective management of the uniformed security team, ensuring duties are carried out diligently and effectively.
- Oversee the execution of standard operating procedures in the event of an incident.
- Maintain the morale of the team and manage the performance of all team members.
Note: The role necessitates a 4 on 4 off shift pattern that may include working at other company premises and includes weekends, night work, Bank Holidays and Public Holidays as normal days of work. Additional hours and/or days may be required with adequate notice.
About You
You’ll be responsible for protecting the public and staff; the role includes some risk in order to protect others from harm. You must have a standard of personal fitness that allows you to carry out full duties (standing, sitting and concentrating for long periods) and, if necessary, the ability to use arrest, restraint techniques and physical intervention.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills to provide the highest standards of customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Have strong conflict management and resolution skills (able to assume control and coordinate the security response) in the event of an incident.
- Have the ability to build relationships across the business and ensure team members work together.
- Have strong IT skills.
- Be able to demonstrate strong management capabilities; coaching and training your team to maximise performance.
- Be flexible with regards to hours and days of work as the successful candidate may be required to fill shortfalls on shift as needed.
