Overview
You will lead a small retail team within Harrods' Gatwick operation, ensuring world‑class service and solid product knowledge. In the absence of the Sales Manager, you’ll drive sales and service while supporting opening/closing routines and daily store operations. You act as a Harrods ambassador, building relationships with customers and maintaining brand standards in a fast-paced airport environment. This role offers a meaningful chance to shape customer experiences at a premium travel retail location.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Sales Associates and Specialists to deliver exceptional service
- Support management in opening and closing routines of the terminal
- Drive sales and service in the absence of the Sales Manager
- Oversee operational control of the floor, daily counts, and price changes
- Monitor stock levels and action pricing where needed
- Act as Harrods ambassador and build quality customer relationships
- Work morning/evening shifts and weekends
Key requirements
- Experience as a team leader or supervisor, preferably in retail
- Strong communication skills for impact in a skilled team
- Ability to deliver sales and service through the team in the absence of management
- Experience supporting floor operations, counts, price changes, and stock oversight
- Availability for morning, evening, and weekend shifts
- Criminal Record Check and references for last 5 years for airside pass
