The Online Trade Manager is responsible for managing and developing their team; providing clear direction, consistent feedback and coaching, with particular attention to the Trade core competencies as set out in the Development Framework. The role will see you manage divisional customer journey strategy & testing (navigation, search, VM & recommendations) through the team, ensuring leverage of relevant insight and analytics from available tools as well as developing and strengthening brand partnerships to secure exclusive product launches, optimise online visibility, and negotiating digital-first initiatives that differentiate the business from competitors.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Monitor digital trends and advancements to inform action plans, working with relevant teams to improve conversion.
- Upskill team members in line with the Development Framework, focusing on core trade competencies.
- Partner with content, marketing and CRM teams on the planning and execution of campaigns to drive high quality traffic and clicks, providing insight to ensure relevance and alignment to key trends & opportunities.
- Collaborate with peers & management team to drive engagement initiatives based on company survey insights.

The ideal candidate is commercially driven, highly analytical and a natural problem solver, with a proven track record of delivery in a fast-paced retail environment. They should be dynamic and resilient, able to anticipate challenges, unlock opportunities and effectively respond to change. It is important that you have strong market awareness and are passionate about exceeding customer expectations as well as management experience with a track record of team development and engagement.
