We are looking for an Online Trade Executive to join our Trade team here at Harrods. This role will be key in driving online sales performance and ensuring the smooth operation of the .com business.

About the Role

The Online Trade Executive will critically assess and suggest optimisations to the online selection based on commercial opportunity, trending moments and competitor benchmarking. This role will also proactively identify and suggest opportunities to maximize conversion, increase basket value, and enhance discoverability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve performance, optimizing pricing, availability, and site merchandising.
  • Support on the execution of all promotional activities, including seasonal campaigns, sale events, and exclusive launches.
  • Support the Trading Manager in testing new site features and functionalities to drive commercial impact.
  • Regularly assess and report on out-of-stock rates, product slippage, and returns data, ensuring availability is maximized.

About You

The ideal candidate is a critical thinker with a proactive approach, able to anticipate challenges, identify opportunities, and support the Trade Manager with implementing solutions that improve performance. They should be commercially driven, highly analytical, and detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of online trading, digital merchandising, and e-commerce KPIs. You will also have the following:

  • Experience in sales reporting, performance analysis, and forecasting.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Experience working with SAP, CMS, Algolia, Contentsquare or personalization tools (Dynamic Yield preferred) is a plus.
