We are looking for a HR Service Team to manage the day-to-day running of the HR Assistant team, taking accountability of the team SLAs and daily tasks and activities. You will report into the HR Services Manager and be responsible for supporting the delivery of HR Services strategy and will contribute to the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives and projects that support HR services.

About the Role:

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the HR Assistant team, taking accountability of the team SLAs and daily tasks and activities.
  • Act as a trusted professional and manage and advise on workload on a day-to-day basis across the team.
  • Be a role model in the team and carry out HR Assistant tasks, ensuring all cases are resolved timely and accurately and escalated where necessary.
  • Support the delivery of HR Services strategy and contribute to the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives and projects that support HR services.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with HR Services Manager to ensure that the case load is effectively managed within the HR Services team.
  • Own day-to-day processes in HR assistants’ team and their effective execution.
  • Plan and maintain work schedules for the HR Assistant team to meet business needs, such as induction and any other face-to-face responsibilities.
  • Get involved in day-to-day HR Assistant tasks and activity as required to ensure adequate cover across phones and help cases.
  • Develop and support the HR Assistant role to ensure the team delivers a high-quality service that results in them being a credible, trusted HR front line team to all our colleagues and leaders.
  • Influence and work with the HR Advisor team to understand customer demand and ensure there is appropriate operational cover to fulfil our caseload and execute against operational demands.
  • Understand and support the successful delivery of the HR Service strategy.

About You:

  • You’ll have experience of acting as a Supervisor, Senior or Team Leader, ideally within a HR environment.
  • You will be experienced in end-to-end HR processes and HR policies with working knowledge of employment law, with detailed knowledge of Right to Work and employment screening legislation.
  • You’ll have experience of using data to drive decisions on process improvement, with the ability to manage senior stakeholders and influence.
  • You’ll have experience of working with a HR system to improve service delivery and experience; Workday preferred.
  • Understanding of SLAs, KPIs and Balanced Scorecards that accurately reflect service and delivery.
  • Able to effectively plan and organise, managing a high volume of work accurately and to deadline.
  • Able to develop good collaborative relationships with HR and key business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable empathy and cultural sensitivity and a high level of personal and professional integrity.
