We have an exciting opportunity for an Enterprise Services Principal Administrator (Collaboration) to join our IT team here at Harrods. You will be responsible for the end-to-end physical, virtual and cloud platforms across Harrods supporting us as we navigate through the next part of our journey.
About the Role
The Enterprise Services Principal Administrator will be responsible for the end-to-end physical, virtual and cloud platforms across Harrods. This will cover both our current on-premises data centres and driving our move to the cloud as part of our cloud strategy. This role will be key in delivering our infrastructure transformation over the next 3 to 5 years and will be responsible for build, support, and delivery of the platform that will be at the core of Harrods IT going forward.
About You
Our ideal candidate will be a technical leader across IT Infrastructure (IaC covering Ansible, Terraform, GitLab, Kubernetes, Entra, AD, VCF and Azure Infrastructure), that can also demonstrate clear leadership in infrastructure transformation, with a very clear focus on delivery and optimisation. It is important that you have detailed knowledge around the delivery of Infrastructure Automation and Orchestration (Ansible, Terraform, GitLab). As well as strong technical knowledge including Ubuntu, Red Hat, VMWare VCF, Data Centre, Enterprise networking, WAN/LAN/WLAN, Routing, Firewall, IDS/IPS, WAN optimisation, ZTNA services, Load Balancing.
You will also have the following:
- Experience with managing Atlassian Confluence / Atlassian Jira
- Solid understanding of governance policies, implementing and designing policies
- Strong ability to influence and negotiate
