We are looking for a Concessions Finance Assistant to join our Finance team at Harrods. You will be responsible for controlling the invoicing and reconciliation process for our concession partners to ensure they are paid accurately and on time.
As the Concessions Finance Assistant, your responsibilities include:
- Prompt and accurate preparation of concession self-billing invoices, including all relevant backup documents, to strict monthly deadlines.
- Responding to queries from internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Supporting the onboarding of new concession partners, including communicating finance requirements during meetings.
- Providing accurate information to external auditors during audits.
- Supporting requests for information from Harrods\’ payment partners.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with concession partners\’ finance teams.
- Identifying opportunities to improve concession processes and supporting their implementation.
The ideal candidate will have:
- An educational qualification in business or accounting/finance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in dealing with senior managers.
- Experience in accounting/finance is desirable.
- A strong customer service focus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Impeccable time-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- A problem-solving mindset and curiosity.
